We like to encourage a ‘growth mindset’ in children but do our education authorities (‘authorities’ in the broadest sense) do enough to encourage a growth mindset in teachers?
According to CfE all teachers are responsible for the development of literacy skills in young people. To what extent do you agree that secondary subjects are simply the context for the development of literacy skills?
